Efrain Ledezma has been a farmer in Angelia his whole life and dedicates this to the cultivation of coffee and blackberries, lulu, plantain and tomatoes. Refrain is also heavily involved in his local community and is a member of the ASPROSI organisation since 2007. On the farm he lives with his wife and three children who help together with the production of the coffee on the farm. Refrain has continually invested in the infrastructure of the farm improving the fermentation tanks and delpulper.
Once harvested the coffee is depulped and then left to ferment for 16-18 hours before it is then washed and cleaned with water. During this time it also allows him to start separating the ripe coffee from the over ripe. After this he then dries the coffee on the roof of his house for between 7-10 days depending on the sun.
