The Sadi Loya cooperative is based near the town of Agaro, in the Jimma Zone of western Ethiopia. The coop serves its farmer members as a central collection site, and carries out all processing at the washing station on their behalf.

Sadi Loya is part of the Kata Muduga Multipurpose Farmer's Cooperative Union - an overarching organisation that includes some of the best known, highest quality producing washing stations in the country. Via Kata Muduga, Sadi Loya can also offer local producers agronomy training, loans and access to international markets.

Sadi Loya was one of four coops in Jimma to receive a grant from USAID in order to install improvements to their wet milling operation.

This is the first year we have sourced coffees from Sadi Loya and its a new partnership that we're excited to develop in the coming seasons.
