Sitio Pereira is situated in the rolling hills of Sul De Minas and has been in the Resende family since 1915. The farm was initially started by Marcelo’s great grandad, Colonel Domingos Monteiro Resende was the one who started with the coffee plantations in 1915. Now the farm is run by Marcelo & his uncle José Afonso Resende. Always very committed to quality and improving, they seek modern technologies to help improve the quality of their coffee.
During the harvest the coffee is collected by hand before then being transferred to the small patios. During the post-harvest production, the coffee is laid on the patios for 20 days being regularly turned until the moisture reaches 11%.
