La Pradrera is owned by two British brothers: Tom and Matt Hills. When Tom and Matt came to Nicaragua they fell in love with the Jinotega area and stumbled upon a coffee plantation in disarray. Without much thought they both knew it: we need to save this place. A long and winding process of renovation begun. And now, eight years later the first fruits has bore.

One of the excellent decisions Matt and Tom tool was to plant the Java variety, relatively unknown eight years ago -but now the most demanded type of coffee in Nicaragua. Now, with everything back on tracks the development of the farm can continue as Matt and Tom still have many big plans for this gorgeous piece of the planet.
